Text extraction: an image-only scan may contain no extractable text.Capabilities and limits
- No general OCR is provided, so scans may not become editable text.
- Complex Word/Excel/PPT layouts are approximations; signatures, forms and metadata may not survive.
Troubleshooting
Check for encryption or corruption on read errors. For missing or disordered text, check whether the source is a scan and review layout complexity.
Data processing and storage
Most conversion work runs in the browser. Remote images referenced by documents may trigger resource requests. Exports use local downloads.
